Reading this article about Brittany Maynard showed how much we take life for granted and how we should go for the option that will make us the happiest. When I first saw the article pop up I thought it was going to say something about a person using a prescription drug the wrong way and eventually going down the sad and tragic death of suicide. I then watched the video of Brittany Maynard talking about when she was sure about dying what it would be like and where the place of her death would be. Knowing that she has full responsibility of ending her life peacefully on November 1st and hasn't done so yet gives hope for other people to not take their life so soon. The Brittany Maynard Fund website let’s visitors learn about death with dignity, compassion and choices and why she wants to do this. The website also gives you the option to donate, I think that it’s good that they’re trying to move death with dignity throughout the United States other than just Oregon, Washington, Vermont, Montana, and New Mexico. If the patients are held accountable to taking this pill in positive ways I think that it should be more widely spread and talked about.
