Malala Yousafzai who is the youngest nobel peace prize winner at the age of 17 had many obstacles ahead of her before she eventually got the prize. In 2013 Malala was nominated for the nobel peace prize then again in 2014 when she actually received it. She accomplished this because In 2012 Malala had a death threat against her from the Taliban, she was driving home one day and a gunman shot her in the head, but luckily she lived. They had shot her because of her strong fight for girl’s education rights, many girls in Pakistan don’t get this opportunity. The Taliban had given her this threat because she had been blogging what she was going through for BBC. Now after the long recovery in Queen Elizabeth hospital where she was in an intensive care unit, and had learned how to talk, write and walk again. She is speaking to people around the World about how important an education is.
The importance of education is greatly advised for women in America and other countries, but because of the Taliban’s propaganda in Northwestern Pakistan many girls don’t achieve a high level of education. In more developed countries like America all children have to go to school from ages 5-18 years old, but in Pakistan some people can’t afford an education in the smaller villages so they go into labor.
Success starts with an education, and people’s race, religion, ethnicity, and gender shouldn't be the cause of their unsuccessful career.
